Gospel Music's Top Worship Leaders Join Bryant Scott and Bishop Scott on the My Worship Experience Project

The Father and Son team of Bryant Scott and Bishop Leonard Scott, the moving forces behind Tyscot Records, have made God the center of Tyscot for over 30 years. Now through their very own worship project, My Worship Experience, this awesome duo is letting the world know that God is their source. With Bryant and Bishop Scott, serving as producer and writer, My Worship Experience is the ultimate collaborative effort on many levels. Some of the gospel industry’s anointed and powerful artists and worship leaders also lent their talents to this project.
In addition to the current radio single, “I Need You Now” featuring Damita, Phillip Bryant and Lil Mo as its first offering, My Worship Experience is also filled with authentic praise and worship songs and exhortations. Every selection was led by different, dynamic psalmists including Deitrick Haddon, Lucinda Moore, Damita, Jonathan Dunn, Joann Rosario-Condrey, Pastor A. Thomas Hill, and more.
Those who attended the recording would agree that the Lord was exalted and reverenced. Deitrick Haddon led the powerful song “U Alone Are God” and as Joann Rosario-Condrey flowed in the heavenlies on “I Need You” and “Give Your Life to Christ”. Praises went forth when Pastor A. Thomas Hill led the uplifting praise song “Oh That Man”, also as Jonathan Dunn proclaimed the name of Jesus on “Hosanna” and as Lucinda Moore sang on the heart stirring song “The Joy of the Lord”.
Each psalmist flowed with the Holy Spirit and allowed God to be the focus. Not only were the people blessed on the night of the recording, but each featured artist had his or her own personal worship experience with God. Here is what they had to say about My Worship Experience:
"My Worship Experience was a night where God’s presence was tangible! As I sang on that night, I was constantly brought to tears as we worshiped together."
-Joann Rosario Condrey
“My worship experience was life changing and it felt like we were in heaven.”-Lucinda Moore
“It was a great experience to minister with artists of different styles and musical gifts.
To also see everyone carry the anointing and capture what the Lord wanted to release through every song was simply amazing. I was honored to be chosen to execute the innovation of Bryant and Bishop Scott and to sit under that type of anointing and the years they have put in was a great opportunity.”-Jonathan Dunn
“It was a wonderfully amazing, awe inspiring worship experience.”-Ernest and Ericka Jackson
“Working on this project with Dr. Scott was an honor as well as a necessary reality check. We are ONLY relevant when our actions reflect our purpose. Lose our agendas and embrace the mission, Authentic Worship...”-Phillip Bryant
“It was a humbling experience for me to be on the same platform with other anointed psalmists. Everything was awesome and excellent! I had to be patient and it was humbling because the songs were geared towards praise and worship which allowed us to fall on our face and go before the throne. It helped me to understand praise and worship more than ever through song and I loved it.”-Ronnie Hoard
According to Bryant Scott, the featured artists’ collaborative efforts produced a sound of worship felt and heard throughout the entire project: “Everybody was anointed to do what they did, the worship leaders were invisible, it wasn’t about who was leading, it was about the experience,” said Scott.
Bishop Scott added that, another unique aspect of this project is that everyone was on one accord from the featured artists to the set musicians. “The artists on the project are anointed praise leaders & knowledgeable on entering into the presence of God and carrying others along with them-all of the songs are vertical, sung to God and are about Him.”
Set to be released September 14, 2010, My Worship Experience is a 2-disc collection,

Things I Wish I’d Known Before We Got Married
No. 1 NYT Bestselling Pastor/Author Gary Chapman’s Newest Book Helps Starting Marriages Last – Starting On Sept. 1
The honeymoon is so over. “In love” is in remission; sex falls short of cloud nine; and toilets don’t clean themselves. “Surely,” say couples married long enough now to register shock and awe, “surely, this marriage isn’t God’s best for me.”
No, but it can be. So says renowned marriage counselor Dr. Gary Chapman in Things I Wish I’d Known Before We Got Married, the pre- and post-nuptial travel guide from the author of the wildly bestselling The 5 Love Languages. For couples in trouble and for couples wishing to avoid it, Things I Wish I’d Known, hitting shelves, Sept. 1, delivers real answers on the journey through early marriage.
“Who we marry shapes, defines, and aims our lives more surely than almost anything else,” Dr. Chapman says. “Yet nearly 4 million people a year—2 million marriages—continue to tie the knot with few or no steps to make sure it holds.”
U.S. marriage stats echo Chapman’s worries. In the last four decades, divorce has soared fivefold. Today’s breakup rate all but matches the marriage rate. Scary? Far-reaching? First-time couples face a 40 percent chance of serving papers instead of each other.
In Things I Wish I’d Known Before We Got Married, a renowned counselor mixes professional insights and personal confessions from 35 years as pastor, family counselor, and perpetual student-husband. Dr. Chapman’s own early foibles segue into ideas gleaned from hundreds of couples, thousands of counseling hours, and marital challenges common to (and overlooked by) almost all newlyweds. Practical, personal, spot-on, Things I Wish I’d Known, new couples already are saying, is the one book easy to read and essential to apply.
Certainly experience rings out in each chapter title: I Wish I’d Known
. . . . That romantic love has two stages
. . . . That toilets are not self-cleaning
. . . . That mutual sexual fulfillment is not automatic
. . . . That we need to have a plan for handling our money.
Chapter by readable chapter, Dr. Chapman gives a fellow journeyer’s tips on how to steer life’s most important human relationship, braids his personal study, feedback and long-term lessons from The 5 Love Languages—and offers thoughtful questions and exercises. Bottom line: an all-purpose tool-kit for men and women engaged or about to be, for married couples, and for singles wanting to start to prepare wisely.
“A relationship is a road you pave, not a highway you merge onto on autopilot,” Chapman cautions. His book’s maps and tools, compiled from people further down the road, amount to an early-marriage GPS.
Pastor, author, speaker . . . Dr. Gary Chapman has written more than 30 books. His number-one New York Times bestseller, The 5 Love Languages, has sold more than 6 million copies worldwide. Things I Wish I’d Known Before We Got Married is published by Northfield Publishing Inc. of Chicago.
